Working for the Department of Transport (DoT) gives you the opportunity to play a part in connecting the people of Western Australia. Our Transport Planning branch is looking to create a pool of highly motivated Senior Project Officer’s with transport planning experience to join their busy team.
This role will undertake key tasks in the delivery of several exciting and innovative projects including the Perth Greater CBD Transport Plan, Mid-Tier Transport Planning, and the Movement and Place Framework as well as preparing responses to Statutory referrals.
We need someone who can:
- Shape and drive strategic transport planning for Perth and Western Australia.
- Provide advice on a range of strategic and statutory transport planning issues.
- Produce and contribute to key government documents including business cases and budget submissions.
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve positive transport outcomes.
- Communicate and influence at a senior level with a range of stakeholders including industry and government bodies.
- Cultivate strong, productive working relationships and partnerships.
- Exemplify personal integrity and self-awareness.
- Achieve results through the development of performance indicators and performance assessment methodologies.
