  • 26/10/2017
    8:30 am - 5:00 pm

AITPM is an association of people practicing in these fields, and the 2017 Back to Basics Seminar will provide an excellent opportunity for AITPM members, traffic engineers, transport and land use planners and elected representatives to:

  • Increase their knowledge
  • Exchange ideas and research
  • Develop professional networks
  • Enhance their skills in traffic engineering and transport planning and
  • Keep up to date with the latest techniques and guidelines.

At the seminar you will learn about traffic signals design, the latest trends in the design of pedestrian and cyclist facilities, an overview of road safety audits, a Local Government’s perspective on Road Safety initiatives, designing safe facilities for vulnerable road users, traffic and travel demand management and a Dutch insight into cycling trends in Sydney.

A technical tour at the 3M Innovation Centre was hugely successful last year. Specialists from 3M will introduce the seminar attendees to the new technologies this time as well. We encourage you to participate in this year’s technical seminar.

Lunch and tea breaks with snacks will be provided
