This event is to celebrate the year that has gone, with many successful YPN events and a national conference.
The event offers members a chance to network, relax in the sun with drinks and bowls and try on the headset to experience the Streamlining Hoddle Street Virtual Reality Model. It has been developed as a joint venture by VicRoads, SMEC and Snobal for the Stage 1 – Streamlining Hoddle Street Project. The model showcases the first CFI (Continuous Flow Intersection) in Australia.
The event kicks off at at Richmond Union Bowls club at 5.30pm where we will divide ourselves in to teams and rotate between playing a couple of rounds of lawn bowls and having a go at the Virtual Reality.
Who is invited?
- University students and graduates interested in a traffic or transport career
- Young professionals (up to mid 30s) already working or interested in traffic or transport
The event costs $10 and includes a free drink, finger food and bowls.
