Thank you for your contributions
The AITPM National Transport Conference is the leading event in Australia for transport professionals and enjoys an unrivalled reputation for providing opportunities for delegates to meet and discuss ideas, broaden their knowledge, and form connections with other industry professionals.
The conference convenors are delighted by the enthusiastic response, of more than 170 submissions to the call for presentation abstracts and practical session leaders and are now developing an exciting program for delegates.
2024 Program - Update

The theme ‘navigating together towards shared transport goals’ emphasises the idea of collaboratively working towards common objectives in the industry. It highlights the importance and relevance of cooperation and harmonisation among industry professionals to achieve shared goals, including improving transportation sustainability, safety, accessibility and efficiency.
For example, how do we navigate towards a common understanding on the following:
- How are we influencing the direction of transport towards a more sustainable future for transport?
- How do we better integrate data-driven evidence into our decision making?
- How can our transport systems approach climate resilience?
- How are emerging technologies transforming our transport networks?
- How can transport design influence the quality of life and work opportunities in the regions?
- How might we reimagine our approaches to land use and transport planning to prioritise inclusivity and community wellbeing?
Abstracts and Proposals for Practical Sessions will be considered for the main Conference program, Modelling Workshop, and/or other workshops and program elements. There will not be a separate call for abstracts for the Modelling Workshop.
LATE SUBMISSIONS HAS CLOSED.
While late submissions can be made, please note that it is at the discretion of the Conference team as to whether they will be accepted.
