In response to COVID, cities around the world have introduced pop up bike lanes, wider footpaths and more space for outdoor dining.

Please join the AITPM VIC Branch for this in-person technical seminar to look at some of the initiatives that have been introduced in Melbourne. Presentations will focus on the design, implementation, and engagement process of delivering this infrastructure in an accelerated way.

The seminar will feature three speakers with direct involvement in the delivery of accelerated infrastructure:

  1. James Laing, Associate Director at GTA Consultants.
  2. Andrew Sharp, Manager Movement and Safety Central at the Victorian Department of Transport (DOT).
  3. Melanie Del Monaco is a Community Engagement Partner at the City of Melbourne.

There will be an opportunity for networking before and after the session over drinks and finger food. A big thank you to GTA Consultants for their sponsorship of this event.

To fully comply with Government’s regulations and requirements for public events and social distancing, this event will have limited seating and the maximum number of attendees is capped at 40.

If you have been unwell within the past 21 days, we strongly suggest you do not attend.
