This Program will be available to AITPM members only.
Are you an undergraduate student or a new graduate?
Do you want to get a deeper understanding and appreciation of a career in the transport domain and meet other young professionals? NSW YPN presents the YPN Buddy Program where aspiring students and recent graduates will have the opportunity to network and socialise with other young professionals in the industry in an informal environment. This is a chance to meet new people, ask any burning questions and get insights into possible career choices in the transport industry.
The AITPM NSW Young Professional Network (YPN) is calling for all undergraduates, graduates and young professionals interested in participating in the AITPM NSW YPN Buddy Program. This Program is designed so that other aspiring or newly joined professionals can interact with other young professionals who have established themselves in the profession. Participants of the Program will have opportunities to network, socialise and share knowledge. This Program serves as an avenue to form new connections, receive guidance and get a unique insight into the transport industry.
The Buddy Program will run over the course of 6 months where each mentee will have the opportunity to meet with two mentors. Each mentee will be paired with a mentor based on similar areas of interest, where possible. Each mentee and mentor will be given the freedom to approach the Program in any manner that best accommodates the individuals and make the most of this opportunity. In addition, networking and socialising events are organised so that other mentees and mentors can come together and share their experiences.
