Remuneration: $104,774 – $112,679 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer who will ensure the efficient delivery and operation of Transport and Main Roads’ (TMR’s) roadside Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and electrical projects. You will use your technical
knowledge, expertise and leadership to co-ordinate all relevant activities to ensure successful completion of contracts within time, quality, cost and stakeholder expectations. You will manage projects throughout the project life cycle and
participate in multidisciplinary project teams to deliver ITS and electrical projects, undertake research in international developments in ITS, develop and apply technical and administrative solutions to ITS enhancement, extensions and
operations. In this role you will also provide support and advice on the planning and design process when managing projects, and coordinate and supervise work activities of a team.
Mandatory requirements:
- A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent Electrical Engineering, Information, Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering qualification which is accepted by Engineers Australia is a requirement of this position.
- Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is mandatory for the position.
- Possession of an open Class C driver licence is necessary to carry out site inspections and conduct field audits.
- Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
