Join us to hear from Matthew Tilly and Ben Caspani, City of Gold Coast project leaders on the “next-generation” Gold Coast City Transport Strategy 2041 as the City prepares for future change and initiatives such as Mobility-as-a-Service, driverless vehicles and major social and technological disruptions and other changes that may occur over the coming decades.
Overview of the presentation:
The City of Gold Coast (the City) has embarked on the development of the “next-generation” Gold Coast City Transport Strategy 2041 (GCCTS2041). The GCCTS2041 will provide the City’s 20-year blueprint for the transport network, guiding future investment decisions to ensure that funding is allocated to deliver maximum benefits for our city, protecting our lifestyle and keeping our economy strong. This presentation will include a summary of changes since the publication of the current strategy, an overview of the Design Thinking approach being implemented for developing our “next-generation” strategy, the reasons why this approach is being implemented, and some of the key challenges being considered in developing the GCCTS2041.
