Susan has been a police officer for 34  years and has worked in various positions including both metro and regional postings.  Since 2017 she has been the Program Coordinator for the South Australia Police Road Safety Centre.  In her role she is responsible for developing, implementing, evaluation and providing advice to enhance the awareness, knowledge and skills of all road users.

With more than 30 years in the Transport industry, Adam has extensive experience in planning, designing, and delivering major road and rail infrastructure projects, contributing his broad expertise to projects across Australia. Adam is particularly passionate about road safety and road trauma reduction. To this end he leads GHD’s Road Safety professional cohort to process, analyse and interpret relevant data, with the aim of influencing decision-makers, planners and designers across industry. Most recently this work has culminated in the release of GHD’s landmark global research-based 'Road Safety insights for future generations' report.

Dr Mongiardini is a researcher at CASR with experience in evaluating safety benefits of novel road infrastructure. He has worked on a variety of projects involving vulnerable road users, including a perceptual lane marking design to improve safety of motorcyclists on dangerous curves along rural routes and a novel 3D perceptual lane marking for traffic calming in areas with high pedestrian activity. He has also been involved in safety evaluations of Intersection Speed Zones devices in SA, namely RIAWS and RJAWS. Beside of road infrastructure, he is involved in computer modelling activities for passive safety evaluations and injury biomechanics.

Tanya is the Transport Lead at the City of Unley, bringing over two decades of experience in the transport industry. Since 2000, she has successfully navigated both public and private sectors, contributing to projects across Australia and internationally. With a passion for developing safe, sustainable, and innovative transport solutions, Tanya is dedicated to addressing the increasing challenges of traffic congestion and parking in urban areas. Her ultimate goal is to transform Adelaide - particularly Unley - into a safer and more accessible environment for people of all ages and abilities to walk and bike for both transportation and recreation. In addition to her role at the City of Unley, Tanya is the current Chair of the Walking SA Transport Committee, where she advocates for active transport initiatives to enhance community safety and connectivity.

Sarah Clark is the Director, Road Safety Policy & Reform, at the SA Department for Infrastructure & Transport.  Sarah is responsible for leading the development and implementation of road safety strategy in SA in consultation with key stakeholders as well as overseeing other initiatives to improve road safety through regulatory settings, decision-making and to enhance mobility through technology, innovation and research, enabling equity, access and choice.

Over her 20 plus year career, Sarah has worked in public policy and strategy across the environment, justice and transport portfolios for various state and commonwealth agencies.
