About the event
Safety is often the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about transport from a gender perspective, but feeling safe should be the baseline, not the benchmark when it comes to inclusive transport planning.
Leading on from their presentation at the NSW International Women's Day Lunch in March, Harri Bancroft and Estelle Grech, from the Committee for Sydney, explored how adopting a gender mainstreaming approach can lead to more caring and sustainable journeys presenting on both global case studies and local insights.
