About this event
The transition to a smarter technology future in transport requires integration of features, functionalities and a near endless source of data. However, what gets lost during the way is bringing the end user along with the journey.
This mystery box event will allow attendees to collaborate in teams in order to design an ideal app that will allow them (as transport professionals and users/customers) to make more informed and effectiveness decisions on their journeys.
Attendees are not required to bring their own materials as it will be provided. This event is designed to be interactive, tactile, and focuses more on the conceptual design on the building blocks of an app (features and functionalities) as well as the considerations for user experience/design.
The key tenets of an app would consider at least the following:
1) Ease of navigation and timeliness of information/data
2) Reliability of services and robust suggestions on alternative mode choices
3) Ease of access
4) Caters to both daily (habitual) and unique travel patterns
Groups will then have the opportunity to present their unique app design to a panel of judges with winners announced.
Registrations close at 10am on Tuesday 15 July 2025.
For more information please contact the team at AITPM.
