About this event
Join staff from Jacobs who will share valuable insights on Bus Rapid Transit.
Bus Rapid Transit is enjoying a renaissance in popularity across Australia and New Zealand. During this session, we will share our experiences, lessons learned and thoughts on the future of Bus Rapid Transit, gained from our breadth of experience on projects across South East Queensland and elsewhere in Australia and New Zealand, such as Brisbane Metro, Sunshine Coast Public Transport Project, Northern Transitway (Gympie Road), Caulfield to Rowville Link (Melbourne) as well as the NorthWest and Eastern Busways (Auckland).
Our insights will include discussions on:
○ vehicle types and emerging technologies
○ depots
○ flexible use of different bus priority treatments
○ integration with the urban realm (applying Movement and Place)
○ integration with the wider bus networks.
○ the future of Bus Rapid Transit as a flexible mid tier transit solution
Don't miss this opportunity to join the conversation about bus rapid transit.
Registrations close at 10am on Monday 18 August 2025.
