With the Federal Government Blackspot Program closing on 17 October 2023, now is the time to make sure nominations are done right.
The AITPM SA branch is making road safety a priority and we are eager to present road safety and Blackspot expert, Amit Dua from the Department for Infrastructure and Transport to talk through how to make the most of Blackspot Program nominations. Do not miss this opportunity to share your ideas, bring your road safety problems to the discussion and let’s keep on working together towards zero!
This workshop will be held on Friday 8 September 2023 from 10:30am and is proudly hosted by the City of Burnside. The workshop will be followed by a networking lunch generously sponsored by the Royal Automobile Association (RAA).

Amit Dua | Department for Infrastructure and Transport
Amit has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Masters in Transport Planning and has a Road Safety Auditor qualification and is a recognized road safety expert working for the DIT in South Australia. Amit 19 years’ experience includes traffic and transport planning studies, project management, road safety investment, safety treatments, and trialing innovative treatments, with a strong emphasis on the Safe System approach and is also executive officer of the South Australian Black Spot Program.
