Industry Briefing Webinar | Draft Guide to Transport Impact Assessment Consultation | Monday 25 March 2024
Attendees joined AITPM for a webinar on the new draft Guide to Transport Impact Assessment, an update to the Guide to Traffic Generating Developments (2002).
Transport for NSW invited traffic and transport industry professionals to take part in a consultation for the new draft Guide and this webinar will provide some introductory information. The industry consultation will be open from 20 March 2024 to Friday 31 May 2024.
Attendees heard from Simon Hunter, Chief Transport Planner at Transport for NSW and Sahan Wijayaratna, A/Director Corridor & Network Protection at Transport for NSW, on key updates to the draft Guide, followed by an opportunity to have your questions answered.
The purpose of this webinar was to provide practitioners with an overview of the draft Guide to Transport Impact Assessment and information on how feedback can be provided during the consultation period.
The draft Guide to Transport Impact Assessment is now open for industry consultation and can be accessed here. Transport for NSW encourages attendees to read the draft Guide and take the survey or make a submission. Feedback will inform the finalisation of the Guide.
If you are interested or involved in preparing or reviewing transport impact assessments, this is an excellent opportunity to hear about the update and share your thoughts.
