AITPM Board Briefing on the proposed Governance Changes
| 15 Nov 2023
As AITPM continues to evolve, it is vital that our performance and governance responds to the needs of our diverse membership. After several years of work to position AITPM as a strong, modern, and thought-leading industry body, the AITPM Ltd Board of Directors is proposing changes to the current structure and governance. The proposed changes are driven by the Board’s desire to raise the profile, maintain and strengthen the Institute’s relevance to its members, its partners, and the transport industry, while respecting the volunteer culture that has underpinned the success of the Institute.
The key proposed changes relate to the size and composition of the Board, the length of office for elected directors, and the eligibility criteria to serve as a director.
The AITPM Board has hosted this webinar to engage with the members on the proposed changes and to provide opportunity to answer any questions.
Speakers:
- Liz McGregor | AITPM National President
- Richard Isted | WA President and Board Director
- Erin Thomas | QLD President and Board Director
- Jenny Robertson | Board Matters
More information about the proposed changes, along with the full discussion paper is available here: AITPM GOVERNANCE CHANGES
