NSW Active Transport Health Model | Thursday 10 July 2025
We recently hosted an insightful webinar exploring the NSW Active Transport Health Model—a powerful, evidence-based tool developed to quantify the health impacts of walking and cycling.
Tailored specifically for NSW, the model supports state and local practitioners in calculating the health benefits of active transport, including increased physical activity, reduced air pollution, and fewer road trauma incidents.
Participants gained a clear understanding of how to embed health impact modelling into infrastructure planning to help build healthier, more active communities.
The session featured a compelling case study, with our expert speakers demonstrating how the model can inform smarter, cross-sector investment decisions across the transport, planning, health, and housing sectors.
