Speaker Bio's
Nicole Vukic is a Transport Planner and Engineer with over 21 years of experience in specialist and multi-disciplinary consultancies. Nicole is currently the Business Leader – Transport Planning and Advisory for Arcadis’ national team and is responsible for building the organisation’s transport planning capability within Australia, which has seen the business transform and grow under her leadership. She is passionate about leading teams on city-shaping projects, contributing to the creation of great places and influencing how people and goods move between these places efficiently and sustainably.
Virginia Anderson is the State Sector Manager for SMEC’s Transport Planning and Advisory teams in Victoria and Tasmania. Virginia has diverse expertise within the transport infrastructure sector, having worked across strategy, policy and planning, project development, investment management, business case, project delivery and evaluation. Virginia’s transport infrastructure experience is complemented by skills in urban, environmental, recreational, health and education planning and development, with an emphasis on integrated systems, where transport supports the economic and social productivity of cities.
Will Fooks is a qualified transport and city planner with experience across both the public and private sectors. Will has in-depth understanding of international best practice, city design, operations, and how to make change happen. Passionate about new ideas, Will also has strong academic links and is always looking for ways to reduce barriers between research and the real world. Recently appointed to Market Leader, Urban Places, Will’s current leadership interests include decarbonisation, national guidance for road design, and mega-events as catalysts for change.
