Traffic modelling for placemaking: the case of the city-wide Paris meso model | 4 May 2023

Extensive cycleway network, place making at major intersections, expressway closures: the City of Paris has been all over the news for its place-making projects over the last decade. Behind the scenes, the City has developed its own Aimsun meso-model, first for the City itself and now beyond its limits into the inner suburbs.

In this webinar, Guillain Maury, Mobility Modelling Lead at the City of Paris, will go into the intricacies of this model, walk us through some case studies and applications of the model and how it was used for road space reallocation projects.
