Travel and living with COVID: views from leading academics | 2 Mar 2022
In late 2020 in two hugely popular AITPM webinars, Professor David Hensher and Professor Graham Currie shared their early research and views on how Covid-19 might affect the future demand for transport in Australian cities. Nearly 18 months on, and with the pandemic still impacting on the movement of people and goods, what have we learned during this period, what is the research telling us, and what might we expect for the future.
The event will include presentations from:
- Professor David Hensher of the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies (ITLS) at Sydney University; and
- Professor Graham Currie of the Public Transport Research Group (PTRG) at Monash University
The event will also include a debate on the wider implications of their research and responses to audience questions on the event.
